Leadership

Scott Ashley CCP(f)
President and CEO
Scott is the President and co-founder of Get Ready. Scott’s strong belief is to separate policies from procedures and truly “operationalize” these often complex, policy-based programs into response-ready capabilities.
Scott has over twelve years experience in EMS from his early years as an EMT and paramedic in Banff, Los Angeles, and Toronto, and for eight years as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic on the Ontario Ministry of Health Air Ambulance helicopter.
While working for the Ministry, Scott’s entrepreneurial spirits kicked in and he founded companies providing First Aid, CPR, and AED training. Since 2001, these businesses expanded to include Emergency Management, Business Continuity, and pandemic planning for all levels of government, hospitals, school boards, professional services firms, and Fortune 500 companies.
Scott has worked with many different associations and groups to develop best practices for the healthcare and health & safety industries. Today, Scott is a member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Business Led Recovery Council, and a founding member of the Safe Site Global consortium through CanDev, Niagara Spark Innovation, and the Ryerson DMZ.
As the President of Get Ready, Scott leads his team to deliver world-class custom programs with proven content and our proprietary cloud-based incident management platform. The ease of use, instant access to the right information, and real-time situational awareness dashboards have been industry game changers.

"Get Ready provides the planning and facilitation of our annual emergency tabletop exercise. The benefits of this include time management, real-time exercise scenarios for senior staff that would otherwise plan the exercise, resource management, data collection, and after-action reporting. The software is easy to use and navigate, and I would not hesitate to recommend the GetReady software and their professional staff to other organizations."
"The Town of LaSalle has been using GetReady software for the last two years. The main components we utilize are the EOC member training modules and facilitation of our EOC annual emergency exercise. Using this software has allowed us to provide and track annual training requirements with ease. Town employees remark that they prefer the monthly short training modules over the in-person time required to complete this requirement through an annual training session. Completing EOC of the Month refresher training modules are a timely reminder throughout the year about the various roles, responsibilities, and components of the IMS system. Training records are also readily available on this software for easy of compliance tracking."
